How do I play?
Pick a game from the games menu and press Play. Each game's title screen shows its controls.
- On a phone or tablet: swipe or tap on the screen. Each game shows touch instructions on its title screen.
- On a computer: use the arrow keys or WASD. Esc pauses.
The games are free. There are no ads, no purchases and no accounts.
Where is my progress saved?
Your best scores and finished levels are saved only on the device and browser you play on. That means:
- Progress on your phone won't show up on your computer (and the other way round).
- Different browsers on the same computer (for example Safari and Chrome) keep separate progress.
- Private or incognito windows usually forget progress when you close them.
- Clearing your browser's history or site data for bom.games, or deleting the app, erases progress.
How do I start over?
In a browser, clear the site data for bom.games (in your browser's settings, under privacy or website data). In the app, delete and reinstall it. This erases saved progress for all the games on that device.
How do I get the latest version?
In a browser, just refresh the page (pull down on a phone, or press reload). If something still looks old, close the tab and open it again. The apps update through the App Store or Google Play.
The game is slow or won't start
- Refresh the page, or close the app completely and open it again.
- Make sure your browser is up to date. The games work in current versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
- Some 3D games need a device that supports WebGL. Very old devices may not be able to run them.
- Close other apps or tabs to free up memory.
Is this an official Church product?
No. Mormon Games is an independent fan project published by BOM Games LLC. It is not made or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The stories are simplified retellings for kids; the full accounts are in the Book of Mormon itself.
